Posting Services
The resume posting services on the Web will not let you know if jobs are available or not. There are two types of resume posting:
- the blind resume posting to all employers and job recruiters in the database and
- the targeted resume posting where you are selecting desired industry and job locations so that your resume is posted only to these employers, who are hiring candidates with your qualifications.
When posting your resume you can upload it to specific job search sites like Monster, CareerBuilder, Yahoo, etc which is time consuming. Bookmark and keep a list of resume posting sites where you have posted your resume including login info. You may need it to edit information or remove your resume posting once you found a job.
As alternative, a ResumeRabbit posts your resume to 84 of the top job search sites, job boards and resume posting sites. You will get login information for each resume posting site, so you can update your resume and apply directly to job postings on each site from one place.
You may post your resume online by cutting and pasting it into a form, uploading it from a word processor or file or sending it via email.
